Surrounded by a front and back garden, the Bee & Thistle is a well kept character house in the popular Commercial Drive neighborhood.

The main floor features a open access living room and dining room with multiple tables. We don’t provide meals, but the dining room is available for all guests.

There is a beautiful view of the North shore mountains and the harbor from the public 2nd floor balcony. All guests are welcome.

The house was built in the early 1900s and you can still see historic stained glass and woodwork. In the early 2000s the house went through major renovations to add a host of modern conveniences.

The second floor features three single rooms, each with a private bathroom. Each room has secure keypad entry, an extremely comfortable bed and an electric fireplace.

Our ground level suite features a king size bed, a fully operational kitchen, tv, sofa and private bathroom.

In Spring, Summer and Autumn, you will find a garden spot for enjoying the sun. Located in the front garden, the spot is surrounded by trees and seasonal flowers.

The Lions’ Loft is perfect for honeymoon couples or for anyone who simply wants more space.
